LED Glow

Your questions answered about Dermalux LED light therapy benefits

FAQs

What is Dermalux?

Dermalux uses LED light to gently boost skin health and glow. LED Light Therapy is a skincare or pain treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light. LED stands for light emitting diodes, usually near-infrared, red and blue or combinations of these, depending on your skincare concern.

Is the treatment safe?

Yes, Dermalux is non-invasive and pain-free, suitable for most skin types. Dermalux has one of the highest safety profiles of any skin care treatment. It does not generate heat or UV wavelengths so cannot damage skin tissue or create photosensitivity. It is clinically proven to be safe for all skin types and the most sensitive skin conditions.

How long does a session last?

Each session typically lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, making it easy to fit into your day.

When will I see results?

Many notice improvements after just a few sessions. To see the full benefits of Dermalux 2 treatments a week over 4-6 weeks is recommended. Treatments taken in quick succession will see faster results.

Can it treat acne?

Yes, Dermalux helps reduce acne and calms inflammation effectively. The blue light therapy can kill acne causing bacteria and encourages oil glands to be less active resulting in less acne breakouts.

What are the benefits?

Dermalux uses unique combinations of clinically proven Blue, Red and Near Infrared wavelengths to boost collagen production, increase hydration, calm redness and fight p.acne bacteria. As the light triggers a whole cascade of skin enhancing processes, the benefits continue even after the treatment has finished.

What skin conditions can LED light therapy treat?

It can treat many skincare concerns including acne, fine lines, pigmentation, rosacea, psoriasis, reduces inflammation and has anti-ageing effects. It can also treat musculoskeletal pain by increasing circulation, accelerating tissue repair and improving stiffness.

How It Works

Understanding Dermalux LED light therapy basics.

What Is It?

LED light therapy uses colors to boost skin health. Our skin has the ability to absorb light energy; it uses this to regulate and stimulate cell processes. The application of beneficial wavelengths enable the skin cells to function better; accelerating regeneration and repair by up to 200%. Red and infrared is used for inflammation and anti-aging. Blue light is used for acne.
